Cheap...Cheap...Cheap,
November 23, 2008

"I bought this gun thinking that with the craftsman brand it would last a little while. It lasted me 2 hours on greasing aircraft. I read and fallowed the instructions and the guns air plunger kept jamming after repeatly oiling per instructions. I will be returning it tomarrow and not getting another one."

"Picked this gun up on sale for 29.99. It primed perfectly the first time and has work the past 3 or 4 times perfectly. I would recommend that you oil it regularly as the manual states otherwise the plunger sticks occasionally but after oiling works perfect. Overall the gun is very efficient and at $29.99 (Sale Price)or even at $49.99 (Regular Price) this gun has been quite a value. This item has also saved a lot of time on the job. Thank you CRAFTSMAN!!!."

"worked flawlessly, using included metal hose as well as the flexible one purchased separately. might waste a lot of grease running the recommended air tool oil through it before putting it away."

"First grease gun (red Craftsman) was a junk. This one seems to be working fine for now. I have only had it for a day so I will have to see how reliable it is. Pistol style trigger is better than the one it has. It should also have a little heavier materials."

"This is the second grease gun I bought. The first one I bought was the cheaper $24.99 one and that one wouldn't push grease though the fitting so I returned that one back. So I bought the professional grease gun on sale for 44.99 hoping it would work. First of all putting together was a pain because I bought a flexable hose for it and it wouldn't fit. It only comes with a metal tube. Then I installed a grease tube and the gasket in the head wouldn't fit in the tube with the grease down inside. So I left the gasket out and screwed the head on the tube. It was like the threads were striped out even before I started. So then I got it to stay on and I was trying it out on my tractor. I thought it was working until the grease tube went flying across the floor. So I thought buying the better model would be made better I was wrong. I'm returning this one today and getting my money back."

"Purchased for me as a Father's Day present. Wish I had read these reviews prior to spending time trying to get the gun to deliver grease. Read the manual prior to setup and should have guessed there would be problems when I notice figures missing. Chamber too tight that grease tubes will not completely insert. Then Grease gun would not deliver grease. By far the most disappointing experience I have ever had in 30 yrs with a Craftsman product. It is being returned to store and do not plan to get a another one."

"I purchased one of these and returned it because no grease would come out. The second gun will prime but not reliably deliver the grease. It is unknown if grease is being delivered to bearings. 3 out of 4 bearings greased had no visible signs the grease injected. The second gun will be returned shortly."

"I am returning this because the plunger is so tight in the chamber it will not fit in the tubes of grease without forcing it and then it jambs up and loses prime."

"I can not get this unit to prime. To prime I have to push a hand full of grease into the head. Sometimes that works but never for a full tube of grease. I am using a #2 grease here in Florida. Don't even think of using this tool in a cold climate. As with so many Craftsman tools this one is foreign made and a copy of a well known American brand. My last Craftman grease gun lasted 30 years until the piston seal deteriorated."

"I can only use this gun on a few grease fittings. The rigid tube for the grease gun doesn't allow me to get at all of the fittings. I would like to see a flexible hose option for this gun and it would be much more useful to me."
